National Brand Manager
Morrison is currently looking for a National Brand Manager to lead the department team members, retain awareness of our wholesale business nationally and internationally as well as attract new customers globally.
Similarly, the role will require a strong relationship management focus with the development & maintenance of long-term relationships with existing &new clients as well as suppliers.
Key responsibilities of the role will be:
- Develop, maintain & enhance efficient, effective & professional business relationships with current & prospective clients
- Coordinate showings for each new range nationally
- Departmental Promotional, Marketing and Travel Budgets
- Assist in assembling new range and distribution to agents
- Maintain effective communication with Brand & Wholesale Leader and team
- Liaise with clients to ensure that goods are being received as per their orders, in a satisfactory manner & in good condition
- To ensure all client related issues are effectively managed through to resolution
- Assume responsibility for administration & reports for key clients
- Recruitment & selection of key departmental personnel.
- Leadership, contribution to and support of the developing 'Wholesale Expansion Stratery'
- Strategise with colleagues and leadership team on annual plans to implement & maintain concepts to increase the business growth and profitability
- Awareness of production & distribution indicators to future growth
- Develop in collaboration financial plans, budgets and schedules for buying.
- Support achievement of annual existing clients sales target
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities
- Buying accessories for the retail stores and influencing continual improvement, design innovation to support our brand.
Candidates will ideally have a minimum 5 years experience in the fashion industry working in a management or wholesale sales position, have proven experience in managing and achieving sales targets and excellent inter-personal and customer service skills. Industry knowledge and experience is desired and the ability to travel is essential as the role requires extensive interstate travel.

National Retail Manager

The National Retail Managers Overall responsibility is to drive retail operational excellence which includes sales achievement, attraction, training and development of retail personnel, service superiority and system standards that provide growth in all aspects of the retail business;
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop strategies that maximise profit and growth within the retail business
- Deliver monthly store targets and drive initiatives to achieve sales and service
- standards
- Deliver and develop training initiatives to lead brand experiences, lift instore
- styling and service
- Deliver performance benchmarks to retail team and lead to achievement
- Co-develop and oversee visual merchandising direction and visual maintenance standards in all stores.
- Oversee rosters in line with operational needs and budget
- Minimise shrinkage through administration compliance and adherence to
- policies and procedures
- Deliver stock take schedule
- Oversee integrity of stock
- Openly work with other department leaders on improvements needed to better the retail business result
- Proactively drive overall performance of inventory through timely consolidations and awareness
- Register and review customer complaints and service challenges including quality stock issues
- Monitor competitor activity and report in timely fashion to CEO for effective retail manipulation
- Maintenance of all retail assets, building, equipment
- Drive and co-deliver the induction and probation process
- Develop and deliver monthly training / instore focus schedule linked to company training programs
- Mentoring of Retail Business Leaders
- Monitor performance of direct reports
