Chadstone
The 5th Morrison concept store opened in Melbourne's shopping capital on 15th March, 2008. "This store is like no other - It's like stepping back to your childhood, entering a world of wonder and mystery" says Richard.
Inside the Melbourne boutique hangs a centre piece of ceramic light, clustered together to fill the room with ambience. Underfoot, limed European oak floorboards supporting recycled timber furniture, some of which was made from an old jetty, bringing a very 'enchanted' feel to the store.
"You will know it is a Morrison store as soon as you walk in. It will feel like somewhere you remember, you can expect an organic touch" Kylie claims. With craftsmen (who have worked on Elton John and Mick Jagger's homes in the UK) being flown over from WA to ensure the first Melbourne boutique is unique to its siblings, Morrison is a must-see at Chadstone.

Death of a friend
Dear Friends,
I am very sad to have to communicate that Morrison passed away yesterday at home in his bed. After successfully beating cancer in August, his cancer returned in September. He was such a fighter and really tried hard to beat it once again. Morrison was 12 years old.
Kylie and I brought him home when we were only 22, so he has been part of our family for a third of our lives. He was no ordinary dog... he came everywhere with us... to friends BBQs (invited or not), shops, restaurants, boat trips, beach (his favourite place in the world) and of course work. Every day of his life he was with people he loved and even if he barked at you each time he saw you, he always befriended our friends. The greatest guard dog that I have ever met... so protective with a “big dog” bark but he never never bit anyone.
An unbelievable Model... so regal...
We will be writing Morrison story in its entirety over the next little while and invite you all to email your experiences with this amazing dog, which will be included in his “story”.
Missing his adorable gaze .......
Rich & Kyles
Xx

Morrison crowned 2007 WA Designer of the Year
Fremantle based fashion label Morrisons radiant design ethos has been rewarded by the Perth Fashion Festival, who has crowned Creative Director Kylie Radford WA Designer Of The Year 2007.
Radfords summer 07 collection, Lumiere, wowed industry heavyweights and festival-goers alike with its classic simplicity and effortless elegance.
While other labels allow catwalk trends to dictate their work, Morrison banked on the timeless appeal of romantic design, beautiful European fabrics and neutral tones to produce a collection with which a fast-growing group of Morrison fans are stocking their wardrobes.
Following the win Radford said, Im thrilled to have won this prestigious award, but Morrison is simply continuing to produce elegant designs in organic fabrics like we have been doing for five years. To have beat such fantastic designers though is a great accolade, it shows that wearable pieces for real women are just as deserving of fashion awards as the more attention-seeking directional designs often seen on catwalks.
Morrison beat WA Designer of the Year nominees One Fell Swoop, Su, Aelkemi and Joveeba.
The award can only boost what is a particularly positive time in Morrisons five year existence. Poised to open a new boutique in a prestigious Melbourne shopping precinct next year, Morrison is building on its strong business foundations to grow into new areas of the Australian market.
Morrisons Business Development Manager and Radfords partner, Richard Poulson, said their first Melbourne boutique would make five stores in total, but he was keen to look at broadening the brands presence around the country.
